Bend Cabinet & Fixtures has been a family business for over 40 years.  It is currently owned by Gene Henkemeyer and Chris Wilson.  In 1979, Chris' father purchased the cabinet making shop located in Bend, Oregon from the previous owner and soon after began having his 3 sons working along side him.  At one point, Bend Cabinet was operated by 7 members of the Wilson family.  In 2005, Chris's dad decided to retire leaving the business to his sons and son-in-law, Chris, Kelly, and Howard. 

 

With large clients like Shari's Restaurants, Les Schwab Tires, and Black Bear Diner, Chris and his family kept very busy creating high quality cabinets and fixtures for clients all over the Northwest.  In 2018, Kelly and Howard made the decision to retire which led Chris to his new partner, Gene.  Chris and Gene have been friends since the 8th grade where they attended school together in Redmond, Oregon.  Gene was an operations manager for Bigfoot Beverages for 30+ years and wanted to make the leap to becoming his own boss.  Gene has spent many hours learning the ropes as a cabinet shop owner doing installations and account management.  Chris and Gene both enjoy going on fishing trips, spending time with their families, and being involved within the Central Oregon Community.
